Richard Thelwell

My personal profile

Wealth is engineered.
Never accidental.

I started in accounting. I trained as a leader. I built businesses, exited them, and built new ones. And I learned the same thing each time — the families who build generational wealth don't have better luck. They have a better architect.

My name is Richard Thelwell. Here's how I became one.

How I got here

Where it started

Accountancy

Numbers first. Before the licences and the practice, the discipline of having to make a balance sheet tell the truth — which turns out to be most of the job.

Then

Leadership, and a uniform

Thirty-five years as a volunteer officer, last command Battalion Commander. It is where the habit of being answerable for other people's outcomes was formed.

Then

Businesses built, exited, built again

Each one taught the same lesson from a different angle, and it is the lesson this practice exists to act on.

Now

One advisor, every chapter

Real estate, life insurance and financing held by one person, so the property, the mortgage, the cover and the estate are four parts of one decision rather than four strangers' opinions.

Years in practice

25+

Across real estate, life insurance and financing — from accountancy roots to a multi-discipline practice.

Insurance

15+

Years as a licensed life insurance agent, and a multiple MDRT qualifier.

Service

35+

Years as a volunteer officer. Last command: Battalion Commander.

What I've built

The work,
by the numbers.

Mastery in financial services isn't a credential — it's a body of work. What follows is what I've structured, qualified for, and served in, across twenty-five years of practice.

The numbers represent only what can be counted. The reputation behind them is what brings clients back.
